Novium is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager in Corporate Finance – M&A for a prestigious client within the Big 4. This role offers the opportunity to lead in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, serving as a pivotal advisor and partner to our clients in this dynamic sector.

Role Overview:

As a Manager in Corporate Finance, you will spearhead M&A processes within the Dutch mid-market, working closely with both our clients and a dedicated team of over 25 professionals. This position demands exceptional Dutch language proficiency and a deep understanding of the M&A landscape to effectively analyze acquisition targets, identify potential buyers, and develop comprehensive valuation analyses and financial models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Leadership: Initiate and oversee M&A processes, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth valuation analyses and financial modeling to support transaction execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for all stakeholders, managing the project team and serving as a trusted advisor to senior members of the Corporate Finance team.
  • Team Development: Focus on nurturing and developing the skills of your team, encouraging their professional growth.

Who We’re Looking For:

An ambitious Corporate Finance Manager with a strong track record in cross-border M&A, coupled with a passion for team development and business expansion. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in M&A, preferably gained in investment banking, a boutique firm, within the Big 4, private equity, or a corporate development role.
  • Proficiency in deal execution, project management, and financial modeling.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
